Operation Lotus now in South?

Nomination of four south eminent persons to Rajya Sabha by the outgoing President Ramnath Kovind on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recommendation is a clear indication of Operation Lotus is south now. Nominated persons are Ilayaraja, PT Usha, Veerendra Heggade and V Vijayendra Prasad.  Besides, the BJP Hyderabad meet is another indication.

Prez polls: some MPs vote in assemblies

As many as 24 MPs will vote in respective state assemblies and five MLAs from three states will vote in Parliament on July 18 for President Election.
