A high profile book release of “Udan”, written by former Union Minister Praful Patel, took place on May 14 in Mumbai  which was attended by who is who in the country. And within a week CBI registered a case  regarding Air India involving former Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel. Any significance ?

Why Sharad Pawar backed out ?

Why NCP Chief Sharad Pawar backed out to be a UPA candidate for Presidential election ? People  say  the NDA Government  gave a message to Pawar by registering a case about Air India involving his “Chela” Praful Patel.

Date of Presidential election ?

The Election Commission of India is likely to announce  the date for election of the Presidential election on June 16.

Cricket Crazy India

The Plains are burning so I make a beeline for Shimla. My Respected Friend, a Retired Senior Bureaucrat, meets me at Balji's and over Masala Dosas and Cold Coffees we get chatting. 

Me: So no Party picked up EC's 'hack our EVM gauntlet'... Commies and NCP turned up but enjoyed EC's hospitality...and say they got to study the EVMs.....
Respected Friend: And AAP's Hackathon got the royal ignore! Even the Media ignored it...what a group of losers ....they want Public to Hack their EVM ...which is made to be Hacked....
M: Has RaGa gone bonkers ...he said Telangana was under the rule of one family ..
RF: Fact is when he talks of Democracy ....fighting Corruption... blames others for Dynastic Politics ... reality dies a hundred times..
M: Sir ....its alleged that he's spoon-fed ....so maybe his Think Tank or his Speech Writer....either one is trying to finish whatever little is left of his Political Career... either wants Congress to move on.... 
RF: Without the Gandhi name he won't get the Mali's job at the AICC Office ....
M: Should India be playing Pakistan...
RF: NO.... and I'm surprised ....are our Cricketers so unpatriotic... even if the Board had a long prior commitment . .they could have collectively boycotted the match..
M: So another case of Money making the Merry-go-around go round and round....
RF: Idiots ....did they give a thought to how the Martyrs Families would feel...or how the Security Forces would feel...
M: I personally feel Pseudo Ethos passed on from NCP and Congress rules BCCI... chalo damage done...wonder if our Players would redeem themselves a wee bit and donate their Match Fees to a Martyr's Family ...
RF: I hear another Dynasty beneficiary is now taking the help of Voodoo to neutralise...what he calls... enemies of his Family ...
M: Sir abh kya bolloo.. the State his Dad ruled for years and rules now indirectly...in this State... those who pass School Boards with flying colours land up in jail...and those who plug become Ministers ..
RF: Ha ha...no joke today ....a bit of reality ....why are we called a cricket crazycraze Nation....because ...we forget that Pakistan is our sworn enemy who tries its level best to harm India and Indians and still we are game to play cricket with Pakistan....what a bewakoof.. 

In a sombre mood we exit Balji

We often come across many retired officials complaining that now a days juniors respect their seniors only till they are in job and don’t care afterwards.
