New leadership to emerge in Gujarat

It is believed that new leadership will emerge in splinter group in Gujarat after the Vidhan  Sabha elections.

Mamta to promote Shiv Sena to counter BJP

Mamta Banerjee  has planned to promote the Shiv Sena to counter the BJP. She is believed to have spoken to other opposition leaders to promote Shiv Sena to cut the Hindu votes. She has already met Uddhav Thakre in Mumbai.

Banks have shortage of cash?

Reports receiving from Uttar Pradesh say that many PSU banks, especially eastern and central UP,  are running out of cash for the last 3 to 5 months. Local bodies elections are going on in UP. Who will gain  if such situation remains?.

I chance to meet a full-time  Engineer and part-time History and Historical movie buff ..at a Coffee Shop. And as is common in Coffee Shops 'neighbours' get chatting .....

Me: What do you say about this Padmawati controversy..

Acquaintance:  Well first its not only about portraying Padmawati wrongly...but also underplaying the barbarism of Khilji... the latter for the Muslim audience...but of course!!

M: And just see what Political Parties who are decrying the Padmawati protests have done in the past themselves...Mamtha had clamped down on 'Teen Kanya' which was based on the controversial Park Street murders....and 'Kangal Malsat' which was critical about her Government and her Aide refused a Certificate to the movie..

M: And how can Congress forget Kissa Kursi Ka... Aandhi... Indu Sarkaar... and Kishore Kumar being banned from AIR for not agreeing to be Emergency's Bard..

A: Personally I feel it'll all dissapear once Gujarat elections are over... though the Karni Sena has nothing to do with BJP..but Rajputs are Hindus so Congress and rest trying to score brownie points by trying to show its a Clamp Down on Freedom of Expression...

M: Yes this I've noticed prior to every election some issues pop up and just dissapear the day votes are cast...

A: I had a good laugh when I read a London Proffessor cited to a London Court hearing Mallya's extradition case...example of Astana's elevation to Head CBI as a sign that such Institutions lacked Integrity and advising Court this is reason enough  for the Court to refuse Extradition ... so now Brit Courts will sit in judgement on promotions in India....

M: And then Mallya is an Indian Citizen..he's entered UK on an Indian Passport... how can UK Courts decide on CBI and ED investigating a Indian Citizen...in fact India can say...as UK is extra liberal with Criminals from other Nations that's why every Criminal runs from his or her Country and takes refuge in UK..in the name of so said Human Rights UK is encouraging Criminals and Criminality from and in other Nations..

A: And Mallya is no Politician to say its Political Vendetta... he owes Indian Banks crores...and he's been allegedly hand in glove with some Bank Officials to get loans that he did not deserve....and of course with help from Congress...but this does not make it a Political vendetta case...

M: So for all practical purposes on December 4 RaGa will be President Designate of the Congress Party....

A: Mummy nominates him... Mummy okays his nomination papers... as per Mummy's directions its a one horse race

...Mummy declares him elected...Mummy swears him in...

M: How come Congress does not Celebrate Grand Papa's birth anniversary ... seems Grand Papa's been declared Persona Non Grata...shouldn't Vadra be concerned....

A: So looks like Government is rejiging the GST rates...

M: Yup....  5% was the Poor Man's Rate... 12 and 18% the Core Rates... 28% only for Demerit Stuff..maybe there could be a new rate amalgamating 12 and 18% into 15.5%!!!

A: But then why include Paint and Cement in Demerit Stuff...

M: The effective rate under VAT regime for Cement was 30% and for Paint 26% ... so there's actually a 2% reduction in Cement and 2% hike in Paint. Both are revenue earners and putting these in Core Bracket would have caused substantial loss to the GST collection Kitty....

F: Yup ...some give and take to protect revenue...

M: What do you  think will be RaGa's first step post being made the President of Congress..

A: His Office will Tweet that as President he has to meet overseas Heads of Congress Party and so he will be going overseas for an extended period.....achcha toh Babaji chalte hai..

M: New Responsibility ..but same attitude....

What will be the political scenario in the country after 2019 general elections ?

General elections in the country are more than a year away though, political discussions regarding the scenario in 2019 Lok Sabha polls have already started with many saying that BJP be given another chance. We invite views of our surfers on the probable scenario after next LS polls – Will it be a repeat of 2014 or will the Congress reemerge or will there be a rise of some new political force (coalition minus the BJP and the Congress).
