Did Manish Sisodia's outburst against CBI cost him dearly? Manish Sisodia had to pay a high price for his outburst against the CBI. First, he reportedly claimed that the investigation agency had put pressure on him and assured him that if he joined the BJP, he would find respite. According to sources, he attempted to politicise the agency, which did not sit well within government circles. Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, was accused of "Operation Lotus" when the CBI questioned him on an excise policy.
