The appointment orders of Ms Anita Bhatnagar Jain who was appointed as Secretary, Central Information Commission (CIC) have been cancelled by the Government of India. She could not proceed because of not being relieved by the Uttar Pradesh government. Ms Jain, who is a 1985 batch IAS officer of UP cadre, was appointed to the post in September this year.
