Premature retirement: no room for dead-woods; only performers to survive

The Government of India is weeding out dead-woods from the services. According to sources in DoPT, the Government will give premature retirements to the officers and employees who are not sincere to their jobs and abdicating their job responsibilities. Upon review of such staff members, the Government will retire them at age of 50/55 or completion of 30 years of service in public interest. The staff members performing outstandingly and giving positive results by dint of hard-work will be retiring at the age of 60, the DoPT clears.
