Principal Secretary, Higher Education in J&K given additional charge

Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Higher Education Department, shall hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, School Education Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. Kumar is an Indian Revvenue Service (IRS) officer. He shall take up the charge of the post upon relinquishing of the charge by Dr. Piyush Singla, who is an IAS of 2012 batch of AGMUT cadre.
