Process to select new CBI Chief expedited

The new CBI chief is to be decided before January 31. Now the Government have expedited the process to shortlist names of three probables for the coveted post. The list will then be placed before the Prime Minister-led selection panel. Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Khadke has written a letter urging the PM to convene a meeting for selection of the CBI Chief.
