Promotion order issued a day before retirement

The CBIC has promoted Chauhan Ramesh Kumar Keshavla to the grade of Asstt Commissioner, Customs and IT. Though his promotion was effective from July15, 2023 but it was issued on August 30, 2023. He was scheduled to retire on Thursday, August 31. Chauhan was Supdtt, Customs & GST.
