R N Jha likely to carry the day as CMD, MECL

Rabindra Nath Jha, whose pitch for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited (MECL) was queered with the extension of incumbent Dr Dhawan despite being selected on July 9, 2015, is expected to win the day after a vacancy of this post. Jha who was also selected for the post of Director (Technical), Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL), has not joined the same adding fuel to the whispers that he would remain in MECL and become full time CMD.
