R Sreelekha appointed first woman DGP in Kerala

R Sreelekha, Additional Director General of Police, has been appointed as DGP, Fire and Rescue Services  in Kerala. The 1988 batch IPS officer who will be the first woman DGP in the state has also been the first woman Superintendent of Police in Kerala when she was appointed on the post in 1991
