Railway likely to do away with concessions?

Indian Railways is in no mood to keep continuing concessions in various categories. It wants to get rid of these freebies. According to sources, the contentious issue is whether to provide concessions to senior citizens and journalists? It is said that there is a thought that concessions for serious patients, Medal winner sport persons and defence personnel should continue. But there is no official word in this regard.
