Rajasthan CS advocates for strong institutions, tech-driven governance and justice delivery reforms UPDATED

Rajasthan Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, IAS, has emphasised the importance of strong institutions, technology-driven governance, administrative reforms and improved service delivery in the healthcare and revenue justice systems.

Speaking at the Foundation Day celebrations of AIIMS Jodhpur, Srinivas highlighted the evolution of AIIMS institutions and the need to strengthen healthcare, medical education, research and innovation. He noted that AIIMS Jodhpur, established in 2012, has expanded significantly and now has 1,000 hospital beds, around 6,000 OPD patients and more than 250 emergency admissions per day, besides specialised services including pediatric cardiac surgery, TAVI, ECMO, bone marrow and stem-cell transplantation and IVF.

 Addressing the Board of Revenue for Rajasthan in Ajmer, Srinivas called for strengthening justice delivery in revenue courts through timely disposal of cases, predictable court sittings, effective supervision, regular inspections and improved administrative and judicial processes. He noted that revenue courts in Rajasthan have more than seven lakh cases pending for adjudication in 2026.

Srinivas further stressed the role of technology as a force multiplier, highlighting digital dissemination of judgments, online case-status facilities, SMS services for advocates and the RCMS mobile application.
