Rajiv Gauba appointed next Home Secretary
Rajiv Gauba, lAS (JH 82), Secretary, Ministryof Urban Development has been appointed Officer on Special Duty in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He will take over as Home Secretary on completion of tenure of the present incumbent Rajiv Mehrishi on August 30, 2017. (We said this on May 15, 2017)
