Rajiv Mehrishi appointed CAG

Rajiv Mehrishi, outgoing Home Secretary, has been appointed Comptroller and Auditor General of India. Mehrishi, who is a 1978 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, succeeds Shashi Kant Sharma.
