Rakesh Asthana is new Delhi Police Commissioner

Rakesh Asthana has been appointed as new Delhi Police Commissioner. He is a 1984 batch IPS officer of Gujatat cadre. According to the MHA order his services has been extended for one year and he will be on deputation to AGMUT cadre. Asthana was schedule to retire this month.
