Rating states on fiscal performance is rating of bureaucrats handling finance
The 15th Finance Commission in its meeting with bankers and financial institutions in Mumbai had reportedly recommended to rate states on their fiscal management so indirectly it would be the senior bureaucrats handling finance who will also get evaluated for their performance.
