The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the appointment of R Subramaniakumar as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of RBL Bank. Now, a meeting of the Board of Directors of RBL Bank will be convened to approve Subramaniakumar's appointment as Additional Director and MD & CEO. A veteran banker, Subramaniakumar has earlier overseen the insolvency process of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) in his capacity as administrator.
