The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has reassigned the Lead Bank Responsibility (LBR) in six districts of four states. The revised LBR has been shifted from Union Bank of India to State Bank of India in Kerala’s Ernakulam and Idukki; from Central Bank of India to State Bank of India in Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni; from Bank of India  to Bank of Baroda in Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra and from Indian Bank of State Bank of India in Tamil Nadu’s Salem. The changes would come into effect from April 1, 2024.
