REC CSR projects worth 2.34 Cr inaugurated in Arrah

R K Singh, Minister of State (IC) for Power & New and Renewable Energy, inaugurated CSR projects undertaken by REC Ltd (Formerly Rural Electrification Corporation) worth Rupees 2.34 crore, in Arrah (Bhojpur Dirtict), Bihar, through video conferencing on September 16, 2020. There were a total of 28 schemes, which included 13 schemes for P.C.C. Construction of roads, 11 schemes for installation of LED/ Solar and high mast lights, 4 other schemes for general public viz. construction of boundary wall in Gaushala, construction of shed in Mahavir temple, renovation of Arrah's fish market and construction of new class rooms and boundary wall in Mohanpur Primary School. The main objective of the project is to improve and provide basic infrastructure & developmental facilities in the villages of Ara block in Bhojpur district.
