Redeployment of staff started

 As per the Cabinet decision the MIB has started the exercise of the redeployment/ absorption of the staff of four media units into NFDC. Now Films, Division, Directorate of Film Festival (DFF), National Film Archives of India(NFAI) and Children's Film Society of India (CFAI) will merge with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). A period of two years has been earmarked for the implementation of the Cabinet decision. The Cabinet has approved the said proposal on December 13, 2020.
