Reshuffle of IAS officers in Assam

IAS officers have been reshuffled in Assam. Ravi Shankar Prasad has been posted as Special Chief Secretary, Environment, Forest and Soil Conservation Department and will also be posted as Principal Residential Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi as additional charge, while Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani was nominated as Special Chief Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Transformation and Development and Syedain Abbasi has been appointed as Special Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Irrigation and Information Technology Department and Resident Representative, Govt of Assam, New Delhi as additional charge. Similarly, Dr Ravi Kota is appointed as ACS, Industries, Commerce and Public Enterprises; Kailash Chand Samaria, Chairman, Revenue Board has been given the additional responsibility of ACS, Fisheries Department; Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Political Department with additional charge of Additional Residential Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi; Dr Krishna Kumar Dwivedi as PS to the CM and PS, Power (E) Department; Dr Patibandla Ashok Babu as Commissioner and Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare on his return from Central deputation; MS Manivann gets additional charge of Commissioner and Secretary, Personnel Department and Biswajit Pegu will be posted as Secretary, Home & Political Department.
