Reshuffle of IAS officers in Chhattisgarh

Around one dozen IAS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Chhattisgarh. Accordingly, R P Mandal has been posted as Principal Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department with additional charges of Development Commissioner and Director General, SIRD. Mandal will hold all these charges after the retirement of present incumbent Additional Chief Secretary M K Raut on November 30 this year. C K Khaitan will now be Principal Secretary, Forest Department while Sonmoni Borah is Secretary, Water Resources and Religious Trusts and Endowments Department.  Similarly, D D Singh has been assigned additional charges of Secretary, Commercial Taxes (Prohibition & Registration) and Commissioner (Prohibition), Managing Director , Chhattisgarh State Beverage Corporation and as Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Marketing Corporation; Avinash Champavat as Commissioner, Surguja division; Rita Shandilya as Special Secretary (Independent charge), General Administration Department (GAD)  with additional charge as Special Secretary (Independent Charge), Co-operatives Department; R Prasanna as Special Secretary (Independent charge), Social Welfare, Sports and Youth Welfare and additional charge as Commissioner (Disabilities); R Sangeetha gets additional charges Special Secretary (Independent charge), Labour Department and also posted as Labour Commissioner; Dharmesh Sahu as Director, Sports and Youth Welfare and Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure was posted as Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission, Raipur.
