Reshuffle of IAS officers in Chhattisgarh

Around two dozen IAS officers have been given new assignments in Chhattisgarh. Accordingly, Devi Dayal Singh has been given an additional charge of Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare while Mrs Shahla Nigar was made Secretary, Secretariat and Dr Kamalpreet Singh was given additional charge of Secretary, GAD. Similarly, Dileep Kumar Wasanikar has been appointed as Divisional Commissioner, Durg; Amitabh Jain was relieved of the charge of Principal Secretary, Commercial Taxes; Avinash Champawat as Special Secretary, Religious Trust; Niranjan Das gets additional charge of Director Urban Administration and Development; Ms Sangeeta P  as Special Secretary (Independent Charge), Commercial Taxes with additional charge of Commissioner, Commercial Taxes; Prasanna R as Special Secreary (Independent Charge), Social Welfare with additional charge of Commissioner, Persons with Disability and Commissioner-cum-Director, Health Services; Ms Alarmelmangai  D as Special Secretary (Independent Charge), Skill Development, Technical Education, Employment and Science & Technology with additional charge of Mining; Dhananjay Dewangan as Commissioner, Basatar Division, Jagadalpur; Taman Singh Sonwani as Divisional Commissioner, Sarguja division Ambikapur; Neelam Namdev Ekka as Director, Rural Industries and MD, CG Handicrafts Development Board; Bhuvnesh Yadav as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection; Yashwant Kumar as Director, Local Fund Audit; Rajesh Singh Rana gets additional charge of Registrar of Firms and Societies; Dr Tamboli Ayyaj Fakirbhai as Collector, Bastar; K D Kunjam as Collector, Bijapur; Anurag Pandey as Joint Secretary, Commerce and Industries; Ms Ranu Sahu as Collector, Kanker and Bhaskar Vilas Sandipan was given additional charge of MD, State Civil Supplies Corporation.
