Reshuffle of IAS officers in Karnataka

More than half a dozen IAS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Karnataka. Accordingly, Mrs Tanusree Deb Barma has been appointed as Director (Information Technology), Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation while Dr S B Bommanahalli was made Deputy Commissioner, Belagavi District and R Girish is Deputy Commissioner, Chitradurga district. Similarly, Dr B C Sateesha has been appointed as CEO, Dharwad Zilla Panchayat; Dr M R Ravi as Commissioner for Textile Development & Director of Handlooms & Textiles; Mrs Kavitha S Mannikeri as CEO, Yadgir Zilla Panchayat; Mahantesh Bilagi as CEO, Bidar Zilla Panchayat and K Shivaramegowda was made CEO, Shivamogga Zilla Panchayat.
