Reshuffle of IAS officers in Karnataka

Around one dozen senior IAS officers have been given new assignments in Karnataka. Accordingly, Mrs V Manjula has been appointed as ACS, Personnel and Administrative Reforms while Dr Shalini Rajneesh was made Principal Secretary, Planning, Programme Monitoring and Statistics and G K Naik is Principal Secretary, Social Welfare. Similarly, S R Umashankar has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Education Department Primary & Secodnary Education. Similarly, V Ponnuraj has been appointed as MD, KPCL; Shivayogi C Kalasad as MD, KSRTC with additional charge of Regional Commissioner, Bengaluru; Dr N V Prasad as MD, BMTC; D Randeep as Commissioner, Social Welfare; Dr H N Gopala Krishna as MD, CHESCOM; P Vasanthakumar as Commissioner, Backward Classes Welfare and Dr P C Jaffer was posted as Director, Pre-University Education.
