Reshuffle of IAS officers in Punjab

As many as 16 IAS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Punjab. Accordingly, Manikant Prasad Singh has been appointed as ACS-cum-Financial Commissioner, Revenue & Rehabilitation while Mrs Vini Mahajan was made ACS, Housing & Urban Development and Sanjay Kumar is Principal Secretary, Sports & Youth Services. Similarly, Roshan Sunkaria has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Welfare of SCs & BCs; R Venkat Raman as Principal Secretary, Labour; Rakesh Kumar Verma as Principal Secretary, Science Technology & Environment; Raj Kamal Chaudhuri as Secretary, Expenditure Department of Finance; Harjeet Singh as Member Secretary, Punjab State Commission for Backward Classes; Baldeo Purushartha as Secretary, Lokpal; Mrs Tanu Kashyap as Joint Development Commissioner, Integrated Rural Development and Commissioner, NREGA; Daljit Singh Mangat as Special Secretary, Planning; Praneet as Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda; Mrs Gurmeet Tej as Special Secretary, Housing & Urban Development; Tejinder Singh Dhaliwal as State Transport Commissioner, Punjab; Devinder Pal Singh Kharbanda as Director, Industries & Commerce and Mrs Aashika Jain was deputed as Joint Commissioner, Municipal corporation, Jalandhar.
