Reshuffle of IAS officers in Punjab

More than one dozen IAS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Punjab. Accordingly, Mrs Seema Jain has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Governance & Public Grievances with additional charge of Higher Education & Languages while Dipinder Singh was made Secretary, Elections with additional charges of Commissioner, Patiala division and Gurdwara election and Rahul Tiwari is Secretary, Employment Generation & Training and Mission Director, Punjab Skill Development Mission. Similarly, Vijay Namdeorao Zade has been appointed as Secretary, Punjab State Agricultural Marketing board; Ravinder Kumar Kaushik as Secretary, Power & New Renewable energy Sources with additional charge of commissioner, Faridkot division; Rajat Agarwal as CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment, Promotion; Mrs Kavita Singh as Chief Administrator, Greter Mohali Area Development Authority, SAS Nagar with charge of Director, Town and Country Planning; Basant Garg as Director, Employment Generation & Training  with Mission Director, Ghar Ghar Rozgar; Sibin as Director, Industries and commerce, Punjab with Special Secretary, Industries and Commerce; Mrs Gurpreet Kaur Sapra as Director, Social Security and Development of Women and children; Manjit Singh Brar as MD, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Ltd; Bhupinder Singh as ED, BACKFINCDO and Special Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayats; Mrs Rupanjali Karthik as Special Secretary, Revenue & Rehabilitation with Director, Land Records, Settlement, Consolidation and Girish Dayalan was made Deputy Commissioner, Mohali.
