Reshuffle of IAS officers in Tamil Nadu

As many as 15 IAS officers have been given new assignments in Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, Dr Atulya Misra has been appointed as ACS, Youth Welfare and Sports while Apoorva was made Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development and Hitesh Kumar S Makwana is Principal Secretary/Chief Resident Commissioner, Tamil Nadu House. Similarly, Shunchonngam Jatak Chiru has been appointed as Secretary, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment; T Abraham as Secretary, Social Reforms; Dr R Selvaraj as Secretary, Tamil Development and Information Department; Mrs R Lilly as Special Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply; Dr R Nanthagopal as Commissioner, Backward Classes; Kiran Currala as Director of Town Panchayats; S Palanisamy as ACS, Higher Education; B Ganesan as Director of Town and Country Planning; Anil Meshram posted as MD, Tamil Nadu Backward Classes Economic Development; E Saravanavelraj as MD,  Tamil Nadu Housing Board; A John Louis as MD, Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation; M N Poongodi as MD, SAGOSERVE
