Reshuffle of IAS officers in West Bengal

More than half a dozen IAS officers have been shifted in West Bengal. Accordingly, Alapan Bandopadhyay has been appointed as ACS, MS & Me and Textile Department while Rajiv Sinha was made ACS, Health and Family Welfare and Anil Verma is Principal Secretary, Animal Resources Department. Similarly, Subrata Biswas has been appointed as Principal Secretary, MEE and LS Department; B P Gopalika as Principal Secretary, Transport Department; Anoop Kumar Aggarwal as Principal Secretary, SHG, SE; Mrs Chhoten D Lama as Principal Secretary, GTA; Ajit Ranjan Bardhan gets additional charge of State Mission Director and CEO, SRLM.
