Reshuffle of IAS officers in West Bengal

More than one dozen IAS officers have been given new assignments in West Bengal. Accordingly, Subrata Gupta has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary, Food Processing Industries and Horticulture Department, while  Mrs Ujjaini Datta was made P & AR Department,Government of West Bengal and Dhaval Jain is Member Secretary, West Bengal Valuation Board. Similarly, Mrs Mukta Arya has been appointed as District Magistrate, Howrah with additional charge of Commissioner, Howrah Municipal Corporation; Mrs Sujata Ghosh as Commissioner UD & MA Department; Mrs Moumita Godara Basu as the Collector of the District of Jalpaiguri; Mrs Moumita Godara Basuas an Executive Magistrate in charge of the District of Jalpaiguri; Sumit Gupta as Collector of the District of North 24 Parganas; Sumit Gupta as an Executive Magistrate in charge of the District of North 24 Parganas; Shashank Sethi as the Collector of the District of Darjeeling; Shashank Sethi as an Executive Magistrate in charge of the District of Darjeeling; Dr Vijay Bharti as the Collector of the District of Purba Medinipur; Dr Vijay Bharti an Executive Magistrate in charge of the District of Purba Medinipur and Vibhu Goel was posted as Executive Magistrate in charge of the District of Purba Medinipur.
