A number of IPS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Gujarat. Accordingly, Ashok Kumar Yadav has been appointed as DIG, Bhavnagar range while M S Bharada, SP Kutch-West was promoted as DIG and N N Komar was made IG, Law and Order Gandhinagar with additional charge of P&M. Similarly, Khrusheed Ahmed has been appointed as JCP, PHQ in Ahmedabad; R J Savani as Principal, Police Training School, Vadodara; Wabang Jamir as Principal Karai Police academy; Maninder Pawar as DIG, CID, Gandhinagar; Himanshu Shukla promoted as DIG, Operations; Prem Vir Singh as Additional CP, Special Branch; Bipin Ahire as DCP, zone 6 and Saurabh Tolambia was made SP, Kutch-West.
