Reshuffle of IPS officers in Kerala

A large number of IPS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Kerala. Accordingly, Shaik Darvesh Sahib has been appointed ADGP, Law and Order, while S Ananthkrishnan is new Excise Commissioner and Rishiraj Singh was made ADGP, Prisons and Kori Sanjay Kumar Gurudin, Kaliraj Mahesh Kumar, S Surendran, and K Sethuraman were made Deputy Inspector Generals of Police and Additional Commissioner of Police in the Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Thrissur, and Kannur ranges respectively; K P Philip is the new Additional Commissioner of Police, Kochi City; M R Ajithkumar as IG, South Zone; Vijay Sakhare as IG and Commissioner, Kochi City; and Dinendra Kashyap as IG and Commissioner of Police, Thiruvananthapuram; Ashok Yadav is IG, North Zone; Merin Joseph as new District Police Chief, Kollam City; K G Simon as District Police Chief, Kozhikode Rural; P K Madhu as District Police Chief, Thrissur City; Pratheesh Kumar as new District Police Chief, Kannur; Shiva Vikram as new District Police Chief, Palakkad; T Narayanan as the District Police Chief, Malappuram; K Karthik as District Police Chief, Ernakulam, Rural; P S Sabu as District Police Chief, Kottayam; Harishankar as DPC, Kollam Rural; Manjunath as new DPC, Wayanad and G Poonkuzhali was posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Kochi City.
