Reshuffle of IPS officers in Tamil Nadu

Around two dozen IPS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, Abhin Dinesh Modak has been appointed as Inspector-General of Police (Crime) in Chennai while Nisha Parthiban has been posted as Superintendent of Police, CBCID-III, Chennai and and Pravesh Kumar is Superintendent of Police, Vellore. Similarly, P Pakalavan has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Traffic, Chennai; P Mahendran as Commandant of Tamil Nadu Special Police V Battalion; S Rajasekar as Commandant, Small Arms, Chennai; M Durai as DC, Traffic, West, Chennai; E T Samson as DC, Security, Chennai Police; R Sivakumar as DC, Flower Bazaar; S Selvakumar as DC, Headquarters in Coimbatore; G Dharmarajan as SP, Q Branch, Chennai; V Vikraman as SP, Tiruvarur; N M Mylvahanan as DC, Mylapore; P Saravanan as SP, Cuddalore; C Vijaya as SP, Nagapattinam; R Pandiarajan as SP, Coimbatore; Moorthy as SP, Coimbatore and SP, special task force in Sathyamangalam; R Ponni  as SP, Tiruvallur and M R Sibi Chakravarthi was posted as SP, Tiruvannamalai.
