Reshuffle of IPS officers in UP

More than one dozen IPS Officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Uttar Pradesh. Accordingly, Mahendra Modi has been appointed as DG, Special Investigation while Vishwajit Mahapatra was made DG, Fire Services and G L Meena is DG/ Commandant General, Homeguard. Similarly, Sanjay Singhal has been appointed as ADG, Railway; B K Mourya as ADG, Logistics; K S Pratap Kumar as ADG, Crime; S K Mathur as ADG, CB CID, Lucknow; Jaki Ahmed as ADG, Anti-Corruption; Jai Narayan Singh as IG, Gorakhpur range; Nilabja Chaudhary as IG, PSC, PHQ; Ashok Kumar Pandey as SP, CBCID, Lucknow; Rajiv Narayan Mishra as SP, Kushinagar and Rajesh Kumar Saxena was posted as SP, Intelligence, Allahabad.
