Retired IAS officer lobbying for a candidate for Director (Proj), PFC post ?

A retired IAS officer of UT cadre is whispered to be lobbying for an internal candidate of Power Finance Corporation (PFC) for the post of Director Project to be interviewed by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on February 12. The candidate, who is from commerce sector, was not short-listed, but his name was included at eleventh hours under pressure for the post falling vacant on May 1, with the retirement of incumbent C Gangopadhayay.
