Rumours floating in Delhi Police

In the Delhi Police, many want to know about the continuity of CP, Delhi. One year term of Rakesh Asthana is coming to end on July 31, this year. He is a 1984 batch Gujarat cadre IPS officer. In the corridors of power, names of some IPS officers are floating as his successor. They are- Sundari Nanda, SBK Singh, Balaji Srivastava and Sandeep Goel. Goel is posted as DG, Prison and a 1989 batch AGMUT IPS officer whereas others belong to the 1988 batch AGMUT cadre IPS officers.
