Sanjeev Kaushik emerges as strong candidate for IFCI CMD’s post

Sanjeev Kaushik, IAS, (KL 1992 batch) on deputation as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and holding post of Deputy MD with Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI) appears to be a strong candidate for IFCI CMD’s post. The Union Government is to select the CMD for IFCI in July month. He is currently posted as a Whole-time Director of two term lending Non Banking Financial Institutions (NBFCs) – one as Head of IFCI Limited (IFCI) and as Deputy Managing Director of India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd. (IIFCL). In this capacity, he is also Chairman of the Stockholding Corporation of India Ltd., Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd. and IFCI Venture Capital Fund Ltd. An MBA in Finance from London Business School, Kaushik has had distinguished experience of 25-years spanning senior policy/regulatory and Board level positions in the Financial sector.
