Satish Kumar to work as Chairman, Railway Board on contract from January, 2025

Satish Kumar, who has been appointed as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Railway Board, will be serving the same on contract basis, à la his predecessor Mrs Jaya Varma Sinha with effect from January 1, 2025 to August 31, 2025 after retirement.
