SBI appoints D A Tambe as Dy MD & CIO, Risk, IT & Subsidiaries, Corporate Centre

The State Bank of India (SBI) has appointed Dhananjaya Arvind Tambe as Deputy Managing Director & Chief Information Officer, Risk, IT & Subsidiaries, Corporate Centre, Navi Mumbai. He is a Probationary Officer of 1987 batch and has rich experience in many areas of Banking and has served in various geographical locations spread across different Circles and abroad. Some of his previous assignments include DGM & CDO, LHO, Bhopal, General Manager, NW-I, LHO, Kolkata and CGM (Operations), GITC, Navi Mumbai. He was also posted as Vice President, Deposits & Remittances, SBI, New York. Presently he is posted as Chief General Manager (IT-Tech, Collaboration & Marketing), GITC, Navi Mumbai.
