SECL Honoured for Commendable Contribution to GST Revenue

South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has been honoured by the GST Department, Jabalpur, as an Outstanding Taxpayer for its commendable contribution to GST revenue. The award was presented during the 8th GST Day celebrations, recognizing SECL’s timely tax payments, adherence to a transparent tax regime, and active role in strengthening government revenue. In FY 2024–25, SECL ensured timely filing of tax returns, prompt settlement of tax liabilities, and strict compliance with all legal and regulatory guidelines, thereby contributing significantly to the government’s revenue base. On  July 9, 2025, under the leadership of Director (Finance) D. Sunil Kumar, a team from the Finance Department paid a courtesy visit to SECL CMD Harish Duhan and presented the award received for SECL’s outstanding contribution in the GST domain during the financial year 2024–25. CMD Duhan congratulated the Finance team for this achievement and appreciated their hard work, efficiency, and spirit of teamwork. On this occasion, Director Technical (Operations/Project & Planning) N Franklin Jayakumar, Director (HR) Biranchi Das, CDN Singh (General Manager, Finance), Anand Bakshi (Deputy General Manager, Internal Audit), and other senior officials were also present.
