Seven IAS officers get new responsibilities in Punjab

Seven IAS officers have been handed over new responsibilities in Punjab. Mrs Gurpreet Kaur Sapra has been appointed as Secretary, Finance, with additional charge of Commissioner, Jalandhar Division and Pradeep Kumar was shifted as Special Secretary, Transport and given additional charge of Special Secretary, Freedom Fighters. Similarly, Mrs Neelima, MD, Punjab Health Corporation, will also hande charge of Commissioner, Food & Drug Administration; Vishesh Sarangal, Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala, will also hold charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Kapurthala; Karnail Singh is posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar; Rajiv Kumar Gupta as Secretary, Punjab State Board for Technical Education and Industrial Training and in addition DPI (Colleges), Punjab and T Benith is now Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Mansa with additional charge of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development), Mansa.
