Seven IPS officers have been promoted to the Senior Time Scale (STS) and given new responsibilities in Gujarat. Accordingly, Mrs Shaifali Barwal has been promoted to STS of IPS and appointed as SP, State Traffic Branch-1, Gandhinagar, while Nitesh Pandey was made SP, Devbhumi Dwarka and Dr Lavina Varesh Sinha will take charge as DCP, Zone-1, Ahmedabad City after promotion. Similarly, Sagar Bagmar was appointed as DCP, Zone-3, Surat City; Abhay Soni as DCP, Zone-2, Vadodara City and Sushil Ravindra Agrawal is posted as DCP, Zone-3, Ahmedabad City following promotion to STS of IPC.
