Seven judicial vacancies in SC, Centre awaits Collegium’s recommendations

With the Supreme Court working with 27 judges – seven judges less than the sanctioned strength of 34, the Centre is awaiting recommendations from the Collegium to fill up the vacancies. The Collegium consists of the CJI and four senior-most judges of the apex court.
