Severe officers\' crunch in PB

Prasar Bharati Board ( PB) is facing serious staff crunch both officers and employees. Especially at junior and middle level officials figures are numbered and more than 80 per cent DDK & AIR stations  are running without proper programme Heads. In the absence of middle level officers junior officers  are manning the Kendras. According to sources, PB came into existence in 1996 but no attention was given towards staff recruitment. Promotions were also denied. Only PB can reply why proper recruitment was not done in the last two decades?
