Five IAS officers have been shifted and handed over new responsibilities in J&K, while additional charge has been assigned to another. Bipul Pathak has been appointed as Principal Resident Commissioner, JK House, New Delhi relieving Dheeraj Gupta of the additional charge, while Rohit Kansal is now PS, Higher Education Department and will continue to hold charge of Administrative Secretary, Information Department and PS (Coordination). Similarly, Mandeep Kaur was made Commissioner/ Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj; Prerna Puri was appointed as Secretary, Information Technology relieving Amit Sharma of the additional charge and Sushma Chauhan will take charge as Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring. Besides, Nitishwar Kumar, PS to the Lieutenant Governor, gets additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Power Development and MD, J&K Power Corporation Limited in addition to his own duties.
