Speculations fuelled after former DGP Prakash Singh meets PM

The former Director General of Police (DGP), UP Prakash Singh met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently. Modi praised his passion towards strengthening India’s security apparatus. The Prime Minister posted on X: "It was indeed wonderful to have met one of the most distinguished police officers of our nation, Shri Prakash Singh Ji. His passion towards strengthening India’s security apparatus is noteworthy.” Now the meeting has fuelled speculations. Some Police officers say, Singh is a role model for the Indian Police. He has also been the DGP, Border Security Force (BSF) earlier.
