The Haryana government is facing tough political and bureaucratic opposition after the appointment of Alok Verma, 1989 batch Indian Forest Service(IFoS) officer, as Chairman, Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC). Congress party has alleged that by appointing an outsider, Manohar Lal Khattar has ignored the state’s talent. Some retired bureaucrats are also reportedly not happy with the appointment of Verma.
