Successful test of Integrated Air Defence Weapon System (IADWS)

The DRDO has successfully tested the Integrated Air Defence Weapon System (IADWS), featuring a high-power laser-based Directed Energy Weapon (DEW). This test, integrating Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missiles (QRSAM), Very Short Range Air Defence Systems (VSHORADS), and high-power lasers, enhances India’s multi-layered air defense capabilities. The test was acknowledged by a Chinese military expert as a significant advancement.
