After the appointment of M Mahender Reddy as DGP of Telengana, now there is no chance of the return of Sudeep Lakhtakia to the parent cadre. Now it is widely believed that 1984 batch IPS officer of the Telengana cadre Lakhtakia will move as DG of the National Security Guard in January.
